Bound to the laws of nature and to the structures we impose upon ourselves and others, we contain ourselves within patterns. As children of the digital age, this is increasingly confused, distorted and controlled via social media and misinformation, creating a ruse for an increasingly homogenised society despite the divide between us growing further. Regardless of the constructs we place upon ourselves, through nature, science and spirituality, we are all bound by the common instrument.

The Common Instrument was selected for and exhibited as part of BF artist Film Festival, at The Gregson Cinema in collaboration with GRAFT, Lancaster on 9 July, 2019 and at Set, Dalston, London on 30 July, 2019.
